St. Paul's School

Toureen Group was appointed by Osborne as preferred contractor to deliver the groundworks, reinforced concrete frame, and external works for a new academic building at St Paul’s School, carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and programme control.

The new facility replaces the existing 1960s CLASP buildings, which had reached the end of their service life. Spanning over 9,000m², the development provides a comprehensive range of educational and support spaces, including classrooms, a library, dining hall, kitchen, administrative offices, chapel, assembly hall, and social areas, centred around a generous multi-purpose atrium.

The construction sequence was carefully phased to minimise disruption to the operational school environment. The building has been designed in an L-shaped configuration to connect with adjacent buildings at all levels and to enclose the central landscaped courtyard known as Founder’s Court.

Toureen is proud to have contributed to the delivery of a high-quality educational facility that enhances both the learning environment and the wider campus setting.

Bristol University

Toureen was appointed by Sir Robert McAlpine to deliver reinforced concrete frame works for the University of Bristol’s new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus. Opening in 2026, the development will provide world-class academic, research, residential, and community facilities for thousands of students, staff, businesses, and local residents. The project will play a key role in supporting innovation and economic growth across Bristol and the wider region.

Plumstead

Plumstead, West Thamesmead is a major mixed-use regeneration development creating a new connection between Plumstead, Broadwater Green, and Thamesmead. The scheme will deliver 1,750 homes, including 700 affordable homes, alongside 57,000 sq ft of employment, retail, and community space. Designed around landscaped public spaces and active travel routes, the project will create an inclusive and sustainable new neighbourhood.

Palmerston Road

The Palmerston Road redevelopment transformed a brownfield site into a mixed-use scheme comprising four new buildings, including two residential towers delivering 187 apartments, office space, and commercial/community accommodation. Toureen completed a major structural and infrastructure package, while innovative design solutions saved £812,000, reduced the programme by eight weeks, and significantly lowered excavation and concrete volumes.

Big Yellow, Hayes

Toureen were appointed to carry out the design and build of a storage facility comprising of 20 external units (seven larger enterprise units and 13 smaller garage type units) and all associated external works and highways works.

Whittington Hospital

Toureen was appointed to deliver demolition, groundwork, piling, and reinforced concrete frame works for a new four-storey, 78-bed mental health inpatient facility at Whittington Hospital. The project required careful management of restricted logistics and complex excavation conditions adjacent to a live hospital campus. On completion, the facility will become The Camden and Islington Mental Health Facility.

Church Road

Toureen delivered two reinforced concrete frame buildings with basements in Ashford for Inland Homes. The project required concurrent construction, detailed planning, and careful coordination of precast and structural elements. It highlights Toureen’s ability to deliver complex RC frame structures efficiently, safely, and to programme.
