ABELLIO BUS DEPOT
Toureen was appointed as Main Contractor to deliver a new-build bus depot designed to accommodate 180 operatives and 63 buses. The development included a main bus parking yard with bus wash, fuel and AdBlue refuelling facilities, alongside a two-storey command, office and welfare building with a green roof. The works also included demolition of existing buildings, ground remediation, piling, foundations, drainage and the construction of the new depot infrastructure.
Toureen was appointed as the main contractor for the delivery of a new-build bus depot for 180 operatives, comprising a main bus parking yard for 63 buses, including a bus wash area and fuel and AdBlue refuelling facilities.
The development also included a two-storey command, office and welfare block, constructed using traditional blockwork and brickwork with a green roof. Existing buildings were demolished, and all surplus materials were removed from site.
Underground drainage, piling, pad foundations, ground beams and ground remediation works were completed before construction of the office block and new yard commenced.
