Toureen Group is pleased to have supported the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the Environment’s latest climate resilience inquiry, following its recent Parliamentary investigation into the UK’s preparedness for climate-related risks.

As members of the APPG for the Environment since last year, Toureen has contributed to this important piece of work, which examines how the UK can strengthen its resilience to the increasing impacts of extreme weather across key sectors including healthcare, food security and housing.

The report sets out a series of practical recommendations aimed at improving the nation’s ability to respond to future climate challenges while supporting a more resilient and sustainable built environment.

Toureen would like to thank everyone involved in the inquiry whose expertise and collaboration helped shape this valuable report. Working together across industry and government is essential to developing practical solutions that address the growing impacts of climate change.

The report will be officially launched in Parliament in September at an event that will also serve as the APPG’s Annual General Meeting. The programme is expected to include contributions from government representatives, alongside confirmed speaker Mete Coban, Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy, who will discuss London’s new Heat Resilience Plan.
