Toureen Ireland has reported strong progress on the construction of the new 412-bedroom Sofitel Hotel located adjacent to Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport, with works advancing rapidly since the last project update.

The large-scale development, being delivered in a live airport environment, continues to require careful coordination and high levels of collaboration across all project teams. Toureen has praised the dedication and commitment shown by site teams, consultants, subcontractors and supply chain partners throughout the year.

Delivering a project of this complexity in an operational airport setting presents significant challenges, and the company has highlighted the outstanding effort from everyone involved in maintaining progress while upholding safety and quality standards.

As the festive season approaches, Toureen has taken the opportunity to thank all those contributing to the project and wider delivery programme.

Work will pause over the Christmas period before resuming in 2026, when teams will return refreshed to continue progressing the development for Arora Group.
