Toureen Donates Over 30 Bird Boxes
Toureen Donates Over 30 Bird Boxes to Support Local Wildlife in Harrow
Toureen has partnered with the Harrow Nature Conservation Forum to design, build and donate more than 30 bird boxes for the local community, supporting local wildlife during the important nesting season.
With bird nesting season now underway, the initiative aims to help address the ongoing loss of natural habitats, particularly in urban areas where safe nesting spaces are increasingly limited. The bird boxes provide birds with a secure place to nest during the breeding season and offer protection and warmth during colder months.
Toureen teams were invited to use surplus timber from sites and yards that would otherwise have gone to waste. The response was strong, with teams working together to produce over 30 handmade bird boxes.
The company’s office team also contributed by painting and decorating several of the boxes, adding creative designs before they were prepared for distribution.
The completed bird boxes were collected by the Harrow Nature Conservation Forum and will now be distributed to residents across the borough.
Toureen has praised all involved for their efforts, highlighting the initiative as a strong example of teamwork, sustainability and community engagement in action.
