Toureen is undertaking a complex package of deconstruction and enabling works at 10 Piccadilly, helping prepare the historic building for its next phase of redevelopment.

10 Piccadilly is a major refurbishment and redevelopment of the Grade II listed building at Piccadilly Circus, forming part of wider plans to revitalise London’s West End. The project will transform the historic building into a modern mixed-use destination while retaining and restoring its existing character.

Toureen has been appointed to deliver the deconstruction, structural alterations, new steel frame and enabling works required to prepare the building for its next stage of redevelopment.

Key works include the removal of the existing roof, with temporary works and jacking of the existing structure required to enable the installation of new transfer beams. The team is also undertaking opening-up works, creating approximately 500 pockets within the existing structure to enable surveys for the new steel connections to the existing frame.

Further enabling works are being undertaken to facilitate the installation of a hoist, supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials and personnel throughout the works.
